Our series of six articles, looking at progressive, future-forward brands that are taking their company cultures to a whole new dimension, continues with another trailblazer. In this, Part 6, we look at Nike.

Nike

Last but not least, we come to sportswear giant, Nike! Between now and 2025, Nike aims to make some massive changes to its ‘Representation and Hiring’ which will create a much more inclusive and diverse company culture; something we absolutely had to shout about!

    • *Global Corporate Workforce includes all global full-time employees who do not work in our retail stores, distribution centers, or Nike Air manufacturing innovation (AIR MI).

    • **Leadership Positions include Vice Presidents and above.

  • 30% representation of racial and ethnic minorities* at Director level and above in the U.S.; increase pipeline of Black and LatinX talent at Director level and above

    • *U.S. Racial and Ethnic Minorities, as defined by EEO1 categories, including American Indian or Alaskan Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.

    • *U.S. Corporate Workforce includes all U.S.-based full-time employees who do not work in our retail stores, distribution centers, and Nike Air manufacturing innovation (AIR MI).

  • $10M investment earmarked for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HIS) in the form of scholarships and academic partnerships to increase intern and direct hires

  • Enhance opportunities and marketing of open roles for First-line Athletes* to compete for corporate roles

    • *First-line athletes include full-time employees who work in our retail stores, distribution centers, or Nike Air manufacturing innovation (AIR MI).

  • 100% of strategic suppliers* are increasing access to career opportunities and upward mobility for women employed in their facilities

    • *Strategic Suppliers: Strategic Finished Goods Suppliers; Suppliers representing approximately 80% of total footwear and apparel production.

Nicely done, Nike. We love where you’re going!
